The Diversity in Education Archive was conceived and developed by Professor Roslyn Arlin Mickelson, Ph.D., Chancellor’s Professor and Professor of Sociology, Public Policy, and Women & Gender Studies at UNC Charlotte. https://pages.uncc.edu/roslyn-mickelson/
Martha Cecilia Bottia, Ph.D., Research Associate Professor at UNC Charlotte, has been the lead researcher with the Project since 2006.
The Diversity in Education Archive was originally called the Spivack Archive. It was created in 2006 by the researchers. In 2015, Mickelson and Bottia changed the name to the Diversity in Education Archive. They also initiated the K-16 STEM Archive that is the parent database for the STEM For The People Archive.
